I have an external HDD that i can plug in to my linux Fedora Core 2, and i can mount the disk and write/copy in to the disk. My problem is, when i disconnect the usb cable (the disk is not mount) and when i plug again in same usb port the system don't recognize the device. But if i plug in on another usb port, everything run ok, the same happens if i disconnect the cable, the system don't recognize the device. If i reboot the system i can plug in to the original port, and the external HDD work. There is a way to resolve this problem, without reboot's ? Thank's.
