thanks for the reply...thought I should add some info... the hub is inside the computer (dell poweredge 1950)...nothing external...but you do raise a point of trying the ports that the keyboard and mouse are in...may be part of different device...worth a try...I have been comparing it to a stock 9.2 kernel...it works and do not see the errors mentioned...adding the rest of the usb options to my kernel...recompiling now...will see if it makes any difference...
