You will have to find out what the "Logitech SetPoint" program is doing 
and somehow duplicate it in Linux.  Perhaps someone at Logitech will 
provide the information if you ask nicely.  Alternatively, you could use a 
USB sniffer program like SnoopyPro to reverse-engineer it.
