It normally arrives earlier too (ie June issue arrives at the start f June, and ends up in the shops around mid July). (Mind you mine has been VERY late lately). Also you get access to every edition of LJ online, not just a few articles like Joe Public. Often its easier to look up an old article you need in the search engine than to look in every bloody bookshelf in the house............
