LJ is MUCH cheaper to subscribe to direct. $62 US per year @.425 = $145 per year = 
$12.something per copy. It normally arrives earlier too (ie June issue arrives at the 
start f June, and ends up in the shops around mid July). (Mind you mine has been VERY 
late lately). Also you get access to every edition of LJ online, not just a few 
articles like Joe Public. Often its easier to look up an old article you need in the 
search engine than to look in every bloody bookshelf in the house............

Linux Format is something like $24 last time I looked.
