hehe... I have 3 here at home at the moment and other 2 486's in the bedroom waiting for me to do something with them.. Tho i have switch box here so dont have monitors or keyboards etc.. laying around.. :)) the 3 are networked together and i have one elsewhere connected to the internet 24/7 so i can try out live mail servers, web servers etc... and see how it goes on the internet... plus i have other three which i am working on and fixing up for friends... so that make about 6 in my living room.. tho 2 of them will go back to my friends houses today..
My wive calls it junk but a hobby i enjoy.. so i am kind of lucking there :)) my son (20 months) thinks they are things to climb on to get daddy's CD's :))) my next project is a firewall/router i am thinking of mandrake 8.1 or this or smoothwall.. (I just about have the 8.1 distro down so i drop of a copy to you nick, or even at the lug meeting) then i might try a modem server for something like that.... Mine is upset about the room two or three computers take up at home. She keeps pointing at the dial-up firewall and saying "what does that do, why do we need it there, junk, doesn't even have a screen ......" I can just imagine her reaction if I told her there were going to be 10 or 20 computers chugging away at the rsa factoring challenge or somesuch.
