I made a mistake there. It should be the Setup-->Device-->Line Termination CR-LF-CR/LF settings that you adjust.
The kppp handbook FAQ (chapter 7) has info on troubleshooting. __ Keith > > Check the kppp settings for flow control. (Setup-->Device-->Flow Control) > "CRTSCTS" usually works but try the others, xon-xoff,none.
