Last time I looked rpm tells you which dependencies are not satisfied, but not which packages satisfy them (how could it?). That's where the guesswork comes in. Unless your rpm is different than mine - not very likely. My SuSE installer also tells me which *packages* need to also be installed to satisfy those missing dependencies, and auto-selects them after ok.
