hmm this may not be the problem...if Shaun can ping the router then it should be fine. Do you get a green light for the pc/lan light? i.e. does the router show that you are connected to the ipcop machine?
Some more ideas that might help you Shaun: - For the DHCP setup do you set the DNS server to the xtra one? Maybe you could post the configuration for the dhcp server on the list so we can have a look at it? - So the modem says that it doesn't have a connection when plugged into the ipcop machine. Have you tried reseting it? It should be able to connect regardless of whether its connected to a hub or an ipcop box. Regarding Saturn...sounds great, but like Nick Saturn isn't going to be in my part of Christchurch for a while....Jetstart is pretty good even if you don't get a static ip (anyway it's a huge jump up from Zfree :)).
