Similar effect upgrading a 7.1 machine to 7.3, it upgraded KDE, and
installed gnome.

Not a big deal, as for some things I prefer gnome anyway..

It did however break the xdm settings for my boot-rom machines which was
annoying, and put gdm back into prefdm..

Cheers, Chris Hellyar.

Hello all,

Anyone noticed this...

I upgraded a heavily configured RH7.2 PC to 7.3. The machine was running
KDE only not Gnome.

I chose the option to update the install, it went always and did its
thing.

After it finished it had updated KDE to v3 but had also installed Gnome
and made it the default GUI.

Not a big deal I guess apart from the fact I did not want it installed.
Any one else seen this?
