Matthew -

I am getting the temperature readings from whatever heat-sensors come
with the motherboard (on a hardware level). At the software level I am
getting the readings from the BIOS "Hardware monitor" and also a windows
program that came with my motherboard (haven't managed to get
lm-sensor's kernel modules to compile, as it's missing some header files
which appear to come from it's distribution).

I set the machine (under windows) to running distributed.net's "RC5
cruncher" and it got up to 56C.

(sorry about not being too knowlegable - I've never own a motherboard
and CPU newer than about five years old in my life)

Dion.
