I'm running a Gigabyte GA-7VRXP with an Athlon XP 1800+ dualbooting XP and Debian (woody), no major problems. Note that you'll need at least kernel 2.4.19 to use the onboard Promise ATA/100 controller (in addition to the southbridge IDE), assuming you get the board with it. LAN and onboard sound both worked flawlessly. - -- "I know of no technological device at this time that would [prevent priracy] and if it did exist, it would only be a matter of days before the [..] manufacturers would have an override piece of equipment on their machine and you would start from ground zero again." -- Jack Valenti, President of the MPAA (1982) -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Made with pgp4pine 1.75-6 iD8DBQE9WFeQT21+qRy4P+QRAkVRAJ9QscCOrKmGFlTb8LmZMGv4H6iFMwCg8pkK mfU+300F0yCoeRT9EvYHKm4= =xWSY -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
