Quick question on setting up ADSL connection. Telecom currently has two packages. - $248 with technician doing splitting work at location, new account plus connection at the exchange point. - $99 everything less technician at location Though, I discovered that with the second option, we can go about buying a $20 odd dollars splitter and install it ourselves. Has anyone done that before? 'Cause it'll be a huge savings with the second option plus the splitter at $20. Any experience will be appreciated.
