The story so far.
Our family PC has 2 hard drives and when we added the second hard drive
we ran the Seagate software that was supplied and it joyfully made all
the modifications so that windows saw the second drive as additional
data storage space. We subsequently added heaps of pictures and music
etc.

Linux Revolution
Wanting to join the Linux revolution and with lots of help from your
helpful installers I now have mandrake up and running on the second hard
drive. (leaving the first drive with windows and all of it's bits and
bobs). Before we did this we burned all of the pictures and sound to CD
as we knew the new second hard drive would be repartitioned and
reconfigured. Great so far ah.

Question Time
Now that we have got to this point I want to copy our pictures and music
back to the Fat partition that we created on the second drive. Windows
no longer sees the second hard drive. I tried running the Seagate
install software again but the install wizard when it saw the new
partitions suggested erasing them and I didn't like that idea so I
backed on of that little menu quick smart. I can probable copy the files
back on to the drive using linux but from what I can see in KDE it only
sees the root partition, I'm not too sure "where to find the Fat"...so
are to speak.

Help needed.
How do I get the pictures and Music back on the second hard drive before
the rest of the family start complaining about not being able to find
their songs??

Help from the wise ones would be much appreciated.

PS
First impression's of Linux from a newbies point of view.

Powerful, complicated, knoppix looks hot .

Cheers
Maurice
