This works for me...

In KDE go to System > Hardware Browser > select Hard Drives

This should show you the partions.

Then edit the file /etc/fstab to mount the partition

Mine looks like this....

LABEL=/        /           ext3    defaults        1 1
LABEL=/boot    /boot       ext3    defaults        1 2
none           /dev/pts    devpts  gid=5,mode=620  0 0
none           /proc       proc    defaults        0 0
none           /dev/shm    tmpfs   defaults        0 0
/dev/hdc3      swap        swap    defaults        0 0
/dev/cdrom     /mnt/cdrom  iso9660 noauto,owner,kudzu,ro 0 0
/dev/cdrom1    /mnt/cdrom1 iso9660 noauto,owner,kudzu,ro 0 0
/dev/fd0       /mnt/floppy auto    noauto,owner,kudzu 0 0
/dev/hda1      /c          vfat    rw,umask=000 0 0 0
/dev/hda5      /storage    vfat    rw,umask=000 0 0 0
/dev/sda1      /camera     vfat    rw,umask=000 0 0 0

(I am sure experts could advise something better but it works for me)

You also need to create the appropriate folders (e.g. for me /c and
/storage)

Hope this helps.
