The correct strings are in fact:

DisablePIIISupport
DisableATHLONSupport
DisablePIVSupport

There was a discussion about this on Slashdot a while back when the rumors of a x86 port surfaced again. The thread at http://apple.slashdot.org/comments.pl?sid=39069&tid=179&cid=4177842 mentions that the DVD player application was acquired through an acquisition, and that these could be a remnant of this.
