Well, yeah ... but my (almost) 5 years old Palm requires replacement.
So is there an answer to the question ?

I've heard is possible. How hard it is actually ? What apps ?
What about "3rd party apps" ? What about a modem ?
Warranty ? Other accessories (like memory cards) ?
Because I might consider this alternative it it's reasonably doable.
