Yup, many thanks for the input.
I've read the how-to yesterday evening, seems to be very detailed
(I like it). I would assume the usual calendar, addressbook etc. are in the
opie package(s) even on the Familiar distro. I am not too keen on the
HD, it may drain the batteries too fast (but I don't know).
Looks like the way to go for somebody wanting Linux on their PDA,
as the Zaurus doesn't seem to be available in NZ.
I wander it it would be worthwhile to wait for the H39xx series.

My current plan is set it up with wireless and use it as a home

(Dial up music etc from the garden)
As it does have an USB port I would assume at worst one could set
an USB modem to it. Presumably there is no other solution ?
