The things I can do in Latex word or even publisher would not have a show of reproducing, the finished product always looks cleaner and more professional and it is easier to use, just ask any maths lecturer what they think of word. We had a number of secretaries who much prefered latex to word, they found word very confusing. > Exactly, "set up a template" > And if you want to put in a table or make a font bigger then it gets > very hairy very fast. I can create what ever font size I want in any style I want, Tolkien fonts exist as do Klingon, there is even a Simpsons font. Most of Latex is copying and pasting from previous or other peoples documents, so unless you don't know how to copy and paste Latex should be straight foreward. > Especially if you're trying to find a tiny typo in a huge table. I have never had problems, just compile line by line until you find the error.
