I have a dialup connection to paradise through telstra-clear and have no problems connecting through the 08--- number.
I maintain the Tramway society's website using geocities filemanager to upload files and for my own website at homepages.paradise.net.nz/barry_m I use gFTP to upload new pages and alterations. I have never had any problems. Barry
