I would love to find out why installing a serial mouse on my laptop (RH7.2,
2.4.xx) means touching the touchpad freezes the keyboard.
Serial mouse works fine. Keyboard works fine, but touch the touchpad
accidentally and you are locked out.
Pretty clearly the touchpad is using some PS/2 protocol and they fight, but
it is very irritating. Solution up to now has been reboot.
