Ok, not having much luck here. I tried 'mt-st' but still not found. When you say (Nick) the package name is 'mt-st' does that also mean the executable is 'mt-st'?
I searched (as root) for anything with 'mt' in it's name that may be related to tape drives. Found 'rmt (under '/sbin') - man pages called this 'remote magtape protocol' but do not know if I should use this or how. There was also 'mtink' (under '/usr/bin') but have no idea what this is as no man pages for it. Are either of the above useful to me, or do I now need to find a package with 'mt' from somewhere and install it somehow? (On a side note, is there any significance to files being located in the directory /sbin as opposed to /usr/bin - they both seem to hold executable files?)
