LILO has been updated whereas you used to have to manually edit it to get it play with XP. Nowadays, it usually just works. I also installed 9.1 over Win2K without issue with LILO as boot loader, so I know that works. As Robert said, try the win98 boot disk thingy and then if it fails, ring/email one of us and we can likely come out and help you. I am shifting this weekend but could try and squeeze in a visit if an emergency.
