http://classes.csumb.edu/CST/CST434-01/world/DualBoot.html I think that if you make the "mistake" of installing your Linux boot loader on the MBR then you have to get rid of it by using a Win98 boot disk and "a:\fdisk /mbr" so that it will then boot into Windows again. Can you boot into linux without a problem? If lillo is calling the winxp boot loader properly, then you just need to put the correct information in the winxp boot loader. What is your loader configuration? We'll probably need to know what your partition table looks like too.
