Forget about those and go to http://www.consumables.co.nz/ Depends on what you want to print. For cheap and office printers, the print head is part of the cartridge and any brand/model is probably as good as the other. Photo printing with these models is not up to scratch. If you want to print photos, Epson Stylus Photo are very good. Epson is well supported under Linux. Cannon photo printers are not supported under Linux (unless you buy turboprint.de for 25EUR - very good value). HP inkjets don't make the tops for photo printing, but they're ok for office jobs. You'll find the cost of ink exorbitant, and reading the manufacturers specs about how long a cartridge will last a waste of time. "Compatible" ink cartridges (i.e. those from thrid-party suppliers) can be noticably cheaper, some of them will also clog the jets much faster after not using the printer for some period. No permanent damage, but you'll have to run a few cleaning cycles and maybe let it sit overnight.
