I guess I got into this when I saw guys not knowing about tab filename
completion / Mozilla Tabbed browsing / shift page up in console windows
/ Virtual consoles / pipes / scripting languages....

ie. The many little small nice things about Linux.

The other common thing I see missing in long time Windows programmers is
the lack of appreciation for the Unixy "A program should do only one
thing and do it well" philosophy.

There are gigabytes of Linux doc's out there, so in a sense a Linux for
Programmers training session should just be "Hand out a collection of
URLs", but somehow that misses the small things I mentioned above.
