I guess I got into this when I saw guys not knowing about tab filename completion / Mozilla Tabbed browsing / shift page up in console windows / Virtual consoles / pipes / scripting languages.... ie. The many little small nice things about Linux. The other common thing I see missing in long time Windows programmers is the lack of appreciation for the Unixy "A program should do only one thing and do it well" philosophy.
