I can tell you that wholesale prices for n800c are around $3500 excl. And that is from one of the largest wholesalers in NZ.
As a reseller, I can find prices for a variety of models... Most laptops these days have no issues running linux these days too by the way. And prices are always falling. Of course my student friend may be getting bulk discount or something, in which case I won't get that model :) Brad > -----Original Message----- > From: Adam Martin [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Thursday, 19 June 2003 12:23 p.m. > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: RE: Linux laptop > > > I would like to know where you could get a compaq n800c for > under $3000 > > > -----Original Message----- > From: Brad Beveridge [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Thursday, 19 June 2003 12:15 p.m. > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Linux laptop > > > I'm soon to be in the market for a laptop of the brand-new > variety.
