okay, i'm truly sorry for defiling your sacred little community, i guess 
asking for somebody to recommend an alternative mailing list(which would be 
more appropriate for my concerns) is asking too much. and yes i had already 
tried the "solution" u offered, also i do own a copy of windows so i don't 
consider reobtaining a tiny(200kb) program to be pirating.  don't worry i'll 
unsubscribe myself from this list so u will no longer have to be offended by 
my wildy innapropriate requests.
