I use it as well. Just got Slackware 9.0 but found to my dismay that it doesn't come with kernel source or Enlightenment. Lucky I kept my 8.0 CD.


BTW how does one disable the window event sounds in KDE? I'm talking about the sounds for opening/minimising/closing/etc windows. I find them extremely annoying and my patience ran out before I found the appropriate setting...

im still using 8.1 officially
surprising 9.0 doesnt come with the kernel source, must've been pretty strapped for space to leave that out.
you'd think that it would've been reasonably high on the list of things to include, recompiling my kernel is one of the first things i do after installing afresh.


hey i can live without enlightenment though, fluxbox all the way baby :D
