Not only is it offtopic, but instead of composing a new message, you hit reply to Jim's "Re: Distro for a server" email. So a threaded email client puts this message *underneath* Jim's message, because the headers know that you are replying to it, despite the fact that you changed the subject and had entirely new content.
Compose NEW *not* REPLY TO!
