The point is that whenever the connection is dropped, I suspect it makes no difference from which end (ie. the ISP can and does drop me after extended periods), IPCOP should detect that the RED interface has gone down and go back to it's "waiting for dial on demand" mode. Mine doesn't.

I just tried it (by pulling the plug) and it works fine on mine.
Have you applied the updates?
