I'm in the process of building an IPCop v1.3.0 box as a dialup firewall. The box is an prehistoric 486.
All has gone well until I installed Fixes3 on it. Following the reboot the ethernet connection does not work so I am unable to access the box from my browser.
From the IPCop console, I can ping localhost and local IP address, but anyexternal address's fail - destination Host Unreachable. Likewise from my box to IPCop.
I have had a quick look through the UIPCop archives but didn't find anything - I was hoping some of the local experts might have a few suggestions
At this point I have tried stopping the firewall from starting - commented out the rc.firewall start line in /etc/rc.d/network
Thanks
