I got a 50-spindle of Verbatim 2-3months ago, and out of the 40 I used, 1 wasn't even recognised as media by 2 different burners. No problems with the others yet, but I'd place them no higher than mid-range. Perhaps that's today's definition of "top of the range": the best of the junk?
