Being old-ish and grey-ish I've sen this problem before. It happened with floppies. I have some floppies dating from the 80's that are still readable. But the majority of floppies made in the last 5 years or so are illegible. I think it comes with floppies being made down to a price, rather than up to a standard. The old ones worked, the new cheaper ones don't. It seems to be the getting same with CDs. Vik :v) -- This PC runs Linux. If you find a virus apparently from me, it has forged the e-mail headers on someone else's machine. Please do not notify me when this occurs. Thanks.
