There was indeed a very long thread on nzlug a short while ago.
Although running cat5 is not impossible, there are a number of aspects
to it which can make it a rather bad idea, depending on circumstances.
I can also see some advantages over wireless. Before you do anything,
it would however be wise to be familiar with the issues (getting a
$3000 PC fried isn't necessarily your primary problem). Before this
