It is a fork of Knoppix, i.e. WrightE has a life of its own.
The installation ends up as a standard Debian installation (testing) so it
is apt-get-able as any other Debian system.

It incorporates a script that will configure a couple of common, reasonably
priced pci modems.  Any new hardware detection that Klaus Knopper produces
will go straight into WrightE.

I did a fully configured installation on a bare machine from start to
on-line by modem in 31 minutes.
