ahhh i see, well i get about a zillion emails a month trying to sell cable descramblers.....
I guess step one is to find what sort of encryption is being used, step two is to see if it has been/can be decoded in software. i have never played with telstra cable or their tv service, so i am unsure on this. i do know from my research last night that dvb (digital video broadcast) cards come in three flavours dvb-t (terrestial) dvb-s (satellite) dvb-c (cable). you still would need to descramble if it is encrypted.
