I just tried compiling, and for the first time ever I managed to compile iscan without an error/abort message...promising, but when I run it I get 'Cannot send command to scanner', and it quits. D'Oh!
XSane finds it and reports the correct device (even tho the scans look terrible), but it seems iscan is unable to find the scanner or something is blocking the commands from iscan to the device...
I'm unsure how to see if anything is 'getting in the way', so can I enlist your services tomorrow still if thats OK? :-)
