Took me about 40mins all up on a k6-2 450Mhz Thats a very cut down kernel though with every thing I don't use disabled. USB, Firewire, Scsi, Parallel port, all extra drivers disabled etc. The kernel was 900K when compiled. Though it appear I may have cut abit to much out as the kernel loads quite alright till it trys to mount my file system (reiserfs) where it promptly throws out error messages about the reiserfs module even though reiserfs is compiled directly in. Strange but gives me something to fiddle with! :-) Chad
