Bad question, it doesn't exclude serial ports emulated by some driver.

Anyway, google lucent venus chipset, first hit:

Sounds good.

Ouch. Softserial crap again. Which of the above is correct? It's a
hardmodem if you configure it with setserial (or not at all, when it
appears as 3rd hardware serial port). Actiontech's FAQ is useless
("Linux install: connect via cable to external serial port...", haha).

How much? Where from? Telepermit?
