Yuri, you may want to look into this page for some tweaks http://www.dageek.co.uk/ipcop/ Things like 2 green interfaces can be useful Ciao, Dave

Mind you, it's also the only install where I haven't had to configure X or sound. I moved my old 33kpbs ISA _real_ modem over (and I've ordered a PCI _real_ modem after much hunting on the net). I just want to recommend to anyone who's not running a dedicated firewall yet to seriously consider IPCop. The security updates are real easy - the easiest I've ever come across. Oh, and the bios on the old PC has no problem booting without a keyboard plugged in - YMMV. I do have one problem though - it only connects at 9600. I don't know the AT commands for this modem - the PCI modem that I've ordered has good docs online including all the AT commands for choosing between V90 and kflex (no V92). I might be connecting at a snail's pace for a week or two :-( Yuri
