I agree on the E-smith distro pick. There is a very nice web config for all the config that needs to be done, easy setup, web mail, samba file sharing with user space quotas, NT PDC emulation, so XP clients need to have a little reg tweak to join, tape backup or to file on WS. Pretty simple little small business server IMHO. Good support on the forums...
