The only problems I have not overcome are:-

* Getting the NIC's to boot from the ROM's (rather than floppies)
* Getting sound on the clients

I am impressed that my clients and server all seem to run at the same speed
when "doing stuff" - and when a programme is opened after being already open
on another box it is almost instantly opened on the next box.

Regards, Robert

Some days you are the bug, some days you are the windscreen.

Perhaps we need Chris Sawtell's input on this? He set up an LTSP server
for his son's school, on what many would regard as rather low specs for
such an exercise.

I suspect that if you have a machine that will run XP in any acceptable
fashion, that you can run an ltsp server for a small number of clients
on the same hardware, but I am guessing a bit.
