Mine has. KDE, OpenOffice, Mozilla and kmail do everything that MS-Worse, Internet Exploder and Outhouse did for her on Windows. I'm just lucky she wasn't hooked on any Windows-only killer-app. The switch was easy to pull off. Win98 spat the dummy requiring a complete re-install, so I re-installed - linux! Told her I didn't know how to support windows (true) and this would be more stable (also true). My brother-in-law is a microsoft lacky, so he sometimes tries to sway her though. Yuri
