As for partitions - what should you end up with? One partition each for: - Swap space - Distro 1 - Distro 2 - User data what else?
And how to handle bootloading?
rgds -J

No its not possible.
However you can backup your installed distro on one parititon to another, then use fdisk to delete that partition, and create an extended one instead, then fill that with logical partitions, then restore the backup to the target partition. Finally you will have to bend the filesystem you restore to make it smaller.
I suggest you just nuke one partition and reinstall what was there later.

Subject: convert primary partition into logical
Hi,
I wanted to try another dist but found I had used up all my primary partitions. Anyone know if it is possible to convert a primary into a logical?
Cheers
Paul
