In my experience the Warehouse not merely purports to be, but actually is an ethical company. I have never had any problems whatsoever getting faulty or damaged goods replaced. The quality of the goods on offer has improved out of all recognition in recent years. > Do they think that management would be comfortable with a > newspaper headline proclaiming that most of the software that The > Warehouse used was designed by and profits a convicted monopolist > organisation? Most of the world is totally unaware of the business methods employed by MS and imho attempting to use the press to pressure the Warehouse would have a totally counter productive effect. The Warehouse would probably simply stop dealing in computers if they thought that they were going to get drawn into some sort of legal mire because they must know that the MS legal engine is effective in the extreme. Also any paper which said anything more than the mildest rebuke would almost certainly find itself on the end of a very hot poker. -- Sincerely etc. Christopher Sawtell NB. This PC runs Linux. If you find a virus apparently from me, it has forged the e-mail headers on someone else's machine. Please do not notify me when this occurs. Thanks.
