me, i am an advocate of keeping my mail on an imap machine and filtering it once via procmail. The client's filtering system doesn't get a look in. then i can access off any client on any machine, or over the web using squirrel, and the mail is all sorted the same way. However even the setup for procmail is subtly different depending on the imap server software.
