In Mandrake you can simply select the package management (forget what it is
labelled on the menu - is it system configuration?)

....and then enter the root password and select the package you want. It is
far easier than Windows if you ask me.

Don, I think that you should restrain yourself from regularly criticising
the ease of use of Linux vs Windows.

In a reply to one of my first posts to this list someone reminded me that
Linux is not Windows. They are different. How long did you take to learn
Windows?
I know Windows very well but I have been using Linux long enough to know
that most things can be done quite simply when you know how. If you keep
criticising Linux you may curb list members willingness to help you.

I have asked some dumb questions on this list too but I do know that
somewhere there is a way to do it and someone who is willing to help if I
ask politely.

That will be 2 cents.
