It should be called Microsoft Virtual Terminalsâ, as users seem to switch between multiple maximised windows in much the same way as l33t h4x0rz (such as myself :)) switch between virtual terminals.
In my years I have learnt that the X11 Windowing System works best when many small windows are used, so you can switch between applications quickly (mmmm, sloppy focus), and see what the hell is going on.
