Posting this to the both lists in an effort to catch the right people.

There are at least two registrations for Mac's at the installfest. This
brings to mind two things:

1. Who has experience with installing on a mac? Your experience would be
valued.

I just spoken to one of the Campus Mac Gurus and he has agreed to come to help out where he can.

He is a Mac expert and a programmer. He knows a little about Linux (he took Chris Sawtell's course) but he admits that he is not a Linux expert.
So between us and him we could be OK.

2. What distro? Yellowdog, Mandrake, Debian and Gentoo are known to have ppc versions. Gentoo is probably out for logistical reasons. Debian has been discounted for the x86 installs and the same may go for ppc, I do not know. Google on suse ppc reveals that there may be such a beast but i can't find out much about it, let alone a download source.

Unfortunately he doesn't know much about PPC distro's either...
