hello all, want to setup a removable media entry so i can install / update packages.
have tried a number of things to get things working but believe i�i�ve got a basic flaw in my understanding. why do i want to do this ??? well i can use an ftp program like lftp and over a period of time download a large rpm stick it to cd and then via then install gui any dependencies _should_ be resolved (don�t laugh Chris) and well i suppose it�s my way of trying to remove some of this rpm hell. any ideas actual code would be appreciated. ps i�ve been through about 10 different google pages over @ 3 hours so nobody but nobody tell me to RFTM because it�s a bit too confusing and i was wanting some leads as to howto do this if it is at all possible. -- Dave Lilley
